Discussions with first responders (EMS, Police and Fire) garnered a strong commitment towards moving the plan forward.
“I am very excited to participate in this process,” said Police Chief Mike Boyd. “As police officers, we would like to have more options and more opportunities to truly help the homeless.”
“We want to feel that we can do something for the individual, and that we can be a participant in a healthy way,” says Boyd.
